I really liked this book! The storyline was intriguing and the twist at the end was shocking. I loved the characters, even when their actions exasperated me, and I had trouble putting the book down. This was my first book by Mindy Mejia, and while I don't always love slow-burning mysteries and thrillers, that highly suspenseful technique worked really well for this story. This book was very addictive and binge-worthy, and I could see it being a great movie or TV show.
I blew through the book pretty fast, as I really wanted to know how it ended and needed answers to the questions that had popped up throughout the book. I didn't guess how it was going to end (which is always a good thing for me) but I thought the ending worked really well. I definitely want to read more books by Mindy Mejia!
