This book was really interesting and a quick, easy read. It begins with a young man coming out of the Boundary Waters area of Minnesota, and immediately being admitted to a mental hospital. His speech therapist (with a past of her own) tries to help to find out this young mans story and figure out what happened to him and his father.

While I greatly enjoyed this story, there were a few things that I didn’t like. I felt like there was some unrealistic aspects, such as breaking the patient out of the hospital and risking her like and career to help him. There are feelings between our protagonist and the young man, and I just felt like some of that was unrealistic In The depiction of this.

The ending was surprising, and worth th read.
