Leave No Trace begins in a psychiatric hospital, with a young man whose violent, yet uncommunicative ways, has the led the doctor to try a new approach. Maya Stark, who has become the assistant language therapist only 5 months earlier, has to use the skills she has learned to try and reach the boy.
I am not sure how the title and cover art relate to the story, as the sneak peek I have been given simply is not long enough. That being said, there was enough interest there for me to want to read more. The cover art has an eerie quality and is intriguing. I would search for Leave No Trace at a bookstore or the library, as I wonder where the author will take the characters and the plot from here.
