Between the synopsis and first chapter I think this book could be either really good or turn into a hot mess. Obviously, I am interested in the mystery of what happened ten years ago and how the boy "reappeared" but I also am curious to find out more about the female character's backstory. It seems like much of the story will take place in the psychiatric facility which might be too dark and depressing but I have my fingers crossed this is a solid read.
