I love a book that combines both psychological and mystery elements. This one had me from the very beginning. I want to know so much: Will Maya be able to connect with Lucas? Will he trust her? Will she find out what happened to him and his father all those years ago? Is the father still alive? I have so many questions! It's also interesting to me that Maya and Lucas are so close in age. From a human standpoint, we see what happens when two people who were probably quite similar are put on two entirely different paths. There are so many things about this book that I am eager to learn about.
