As an educator, I have read many books that focus on the theory of growth mindset. Although this book is basically about this same theory, it was like no other that I have read. It was easily understandable and relatable that I am recommending it to all of my teacher friends. The scientific jargon that books of this sort usually contain, was written in a way so that anyone could read and understand it. You don't have to be a neuroscientist to be able to figure this one out! Usually when I read books of this sort, I give up because I become bored. Either there is just too much technical jargon or they seem to say the same thing over and over again. The examples from the author own life and of real life people who have achieved greatness made the book enjoyable to read and made me want to keep on reading. I am hoping to be able to use some of these examples to help me change my own mindset!
