At the offset, this promises to be a good self help book. It promises that I can learn to do anything I want, if I follow the authors steps. From piano to learning languages, I am guaranteed to easily learn anything I want to.

Well, I call B.S. on this idea. First, people have different skills and talents that we are innately born with that allow us to easily learn one thing and not another. For example, I can’t practice all I want, but I will never be able to hit a baseball like a professional baseball player. I won’t be able to understand complicated mathematical theories... some people are just wired to do things and others are not. I think it is a dis service to make a promise that cannot be met.

The cover was ok, and didn’t speak too loudly to me. Just kind of plain and I would probably pass it by in a bookstore. The book pretends to be a well researched book, but the bottom like is, if you take the time to practice something you can learn it. I didn’t need a long self help book to tell me that.
