Velasques reminds us that the secret of mastery is effort and sacrifice. Velasques' theory is that, with the right techniques, every common person can become a master of anything he/she sets his mind to. I am not sure if I completely agree, as it is indisputable that certain people have special talents. However I agree that our brain is capable of so much more than we think.
