To start, I don’t fully agree with what’s said in the beginning. I agree that if you work hard at anything you can master it, but I feel like some of it does come down to raw talent and genetics because sometimes no matter how hard you work at mastering something you still might not master it if you don’t have the inherent talent or the drive to master it. So I feel like this book might be setting some people up with unrealistic expectations. I also think that the science behind learning is interesting, but too technical for anyone who hasn’t studied the brain. This book I think would be good for only very specific audiences.
