Did I enjoy reading this story? Yes! I enjoyed the characters and it was an easy book to read. But the book felt very anticlimatic. When the murderer is revealed at the end, it did not feel like a big shock because the murderer was narrowed down to two people, and it wasn't hard to guess which person it was. There was an earlier reveal that was a little bit shocking, but a certain character's emotions involving the reveal did not line up with their previous actions. It seemed like once it was time for a dramatic plot twist to happen, the author changed how the characters acted to make it more shocking or surprising. This didn't have the effect the author was going for and it just made the reveals fall flat and feel unimportant. The ending also felt very rushed and none of the characters seemed to really be effected by the reveal of the murderer besides one. Besides all of that, I liked the premise of the book and I liked the environment. Even though you don't get to learn much about the character's and who they are, I still liked a lot of them. Overall, the story was good but the author was trying to add in too many factors for a small, short mysery novel.
