Evander has, had, a secret. With his life seemingly over, he takes a job with a family he thinks he understands. I was hooked from the first encounter in the bar and can't wait to learn more about all of the delicious inhabitants of this cloistered estate. This is one of the most interesting and inviting books I have come across in a long time!
