Half the reason I wanted to read this one is the cover. The purple is gorgeous and it sells the atmosphere immediately. I'm super intrigued by the comparison to Knives Out and its queer cast.
This first look was promising, but it did take me a bit to fall into the story. I wasn't wholly convinced by some of the dialogue, but it kept my interested enough for me to keep reading. Chapter two is definitely stronger than the first and by the end of it I was more than invested in seeing how this all plays out.
