Interesting premise but not for me

After reading the first look, I'm thinking this might be a pass for me - because it's not a genre mashup that I typcially like. I enjoyed the historical fiction part of it, but not as interested in the mystery aspect and I think I'd become frustrated with the heavy mystery leanings.

Great cover, good pacing and dialogue - just not for me.

I've been a Bookish First user for a while now, but this is the first time the First Look included edit's (which I found super distracting!)
