This brings you back to a world before acceptance, when what you were versus who you were was very important. Although the story takes place in the 1950's it is surreal, and more of a dystopian universe or maybe just a film noir that stars a detective who has been thrown out of his precinct only because he was enjoying a lifestyle that although legal was not deemed respectable or acceptable. I like the story, and I like the characters. I'd love to see how this mystery is solved.
