First of all, how gorgeous is this book cover? Compared to the movie Knives Out, this sounds like a very promising twisty mystery! Set in the past where it was basically a crime to be anything other than heterosexual, the Lavender House is a refuge for members of the LGBTQ+ community where one can live exactly as he, she, or they choose. But there’s more than meets the eye about this house and the family that runs it. The lady of the house dies suspiciously, but that is just the tip of the iceberg!
