I struggled to get through this book. It was all over the place. The characters weren't likeable and the whole plot of the story ends in a lackluster way. I spent the whole book wondering who and where Rauri is and the culmination of that is a disappointment. The only meaningful character interaction I saw was between Pete and Meg and that was also left unfinished. I don't like to write a bad review, but I just did not like this book. I felt like it was hard to follow the characters and their stories. It took me a long time to figure out the importance of each character. This book was just disjointed and felt pieced together. It felt as if more effort had been given to the beginning and the end, but everything in between was a letdown. Thank you for the opportunity to review this book and I am sorry that I did not enjoy it. These opinions are honest and all my own.
