I've read a few books that take place in small towns where the community is tight and the pace of life is slow. Often times the plot is like a slow walk down a back country road, nothing exciting, but beautiful and peaceful. Just the kind of story to help you relax and unwind. This looks to be one of those types of story, and a nice balance to some of the thrillers that I read quite often.
