"Last Call" tells the story of a serial killer that targeted gay man in the 80s and early 90s in NYC.
It is a true crime story, which automatically made it interesting for me. I couldn't believe those murders have been overlooked or forgotten because of the victims' sexual orientation.

The author did a great job researching and describing all the characters' back stories. We have the opportunity to meet their whole life, not only the details of how they died. We also get to meet in detail the killer. In a true crime story, usually we only see the negative aspect of the killer and it is sometimes impossible to see pass that. I believe that the author did an excellent research work in this case and therefore the reader has the opportunity to analyze the killer.

This is a heartbreaking and well written story. I'll recommend it to anyone who likes true crime stories.
