I’m a true crime addict. I was given a gifted copy of Last Call for an honest review.

I really enjoyed this one although it is a sad case(s) that should have gotten more attention at the time it was all happening.

The 80’s and 90’s were a tough time for Gay men everywhere. Last Call tells the story of the victims of a serial killer in New York City killing gay men. The writing was well done, and learning about the victims was so interesting and sad.

This reminded me of Ann Rule’s early work. If you enjoy true crime this one is a little different which makes it better in my opinion.

The story is as far as true crime goes is spun well here. Some insight into gay culture in the 80’s during the AIDS “pandemic” was timely & kept me turning the pages here.

I highly recommend This one almost felt as though it was fiction at times. Thanks to bookish first for my early copy.
