So I knew going in that it was going to be about a tragic event in the 1980s/90s that surrounded the very closeted gay community and I knew a little bit about the last call killer. However I was very happily surprised to find this focused more on the victims than on the killer and the investigation itself. It also focused more along the lines of what was going on in the community back then which was also a very happy and pleasant surprise. I finished this in one setting and could not have been happier with it. I really appreciate how Elon Green took three years together everything together so that he was accurate. I definitely learned a lot more about this tragic event, and even took the time to read the references that were included. This is definitely going to be a hit once it hits the shelves next week. Thank you Celadon for providing my copy.
