I LOVE a true crime book! Even though many times they tend to feel like fiction, the fact that these events actually took place makes me even more invested. I really love a true crime book that has me very invested in the people who are at front and center. The author manages to ensure the reader understands who all the major players are in this story.
Well, Last Call by Elon Green did not disappoint! This book was more centered around the their lives than gory details...which was utterly fascinating! The author did so much research and it really came out reading this. He really delves into who they are and we feel a part of their lives.
Makes one very invested and wanting to understand the crime. This book reads like you are part of the investigation. I love true crime that reads like fiction and Last Call is that book!
