Great read
Thank you Celadon Books for the gifted copy.
If you like True Crime, like American Predator or I'll Be Gone in the Dark, this is a great, quick read. I read this is one sitting, so it tends to go quickly. But the author did a great job of building the story with details in the beginning, back history, and a "who done it" at the end, so it kept me very much engaged. I honestly wanted to read a little more. I was thinking I would have put the history first and then the storyline. However, I see how the author built the narrative. I was born in the 80's, but the author also did a great job of talking about the history with AIDs, and the attacks that occurred on men who weren't afraid of who they were. It was pretty eye opening, so I am glad the author reviewed the context of history. This wasn't gory or brutal, it was about (without spoilers) about someone who took things a little too far.
