Good, but I didn’t love the writing style...

This book was good, but could have been wonderful. The book details the 1980s and 90s murders of gay men after bars closed, cases that have been attributed to the Last Call Killer. I enjoyed the content of the book, I just felt like parts of the book could have been better written. This is especially the case in the beginning section, where the author details the victims and their histories became long, and somewhat confusing. I felt like it jumped right in and became too confusing for me to easily follow, especially at the beginning of a book. I felt like the second half of the book was better, and I did like how the author honored all the victims of the killers. It just was hard for me to get into the book initially. After pushing through it was worth the read, I just felt the beginning dragged. I also felt like some of the theories the author presented were more his opinions than true fact. That is my opinion though. Overall, worth the read, but not my favorite true crime book.
