I have to start out by saying that I am pretty much addicted to true crime drama's and novels. There are a few exceptions to that but this book is not one of them. Mr. Green's novel is addicting, I had to know what happened to these poor victims and I had to know why. I think that's the biggest thing and what kept me engaged all the way through this book was the why. Mr. Green did a fantastic job of honoring and shedding light on the victim's lives. He went into a lot of detail to make them feel real and in some ways alive again, which I can honestly appreciate. A lot of times the victim's get lost in narratives; authors tend to focus solely on the gruesome and horrifying to get readers attention. But I appreciate that Mr. Green to time to show us the people who were lost.
I also appreciate the amount of research into the case that Mr. Green did. You can tell he spent a lot of time gathering information.
Overall, I found this to be an addictive read and one I would highly recommend.
