I am a big fan of true crime non-fiction, and I am eager to read this important work about the Last Call Killer who terrorized gay men in the 80s and 90s during the height of the AIDS epidemic. Not only is this a story that is long overdue to be told, but from this excerpt, it is clear the author takes great care to humanize the victims and finally give them a voice. This feels like a must-read, and I look forward to seeing where the story goes.
