I have never read a Star Wars book but I was pleasantly surprised by this. I thought the story was interesting, the characters were fun, and I thought the story was well-rounded and I like that it is read as a stand-alone. I thought the plot was fun and for someone who's not very known to Star Wars it wasn't hard for me to read and understand . I may be biased but I also quite like the author's other novels and I really enjoy the thought and details that she puts into her writing. I think for tweens there should be a lot more books similar to this that are Star Wars related. This was a fun and quick read and I'm going to put it on my young son's bookshelf so when he gets older he can enjoy this book just like I did.
