This was a great book. Graphic novels aren’t usually my thing, but this one was pretty amazing. The ones I really like, often become my favorites and I think graphic novels are an interesting way to tell a story. It doesn’t work for all stories, but when it works, it really works. The characters were well developed and really likeable. I really like that this offers us some characters that we don’t usually see and think diversity in our books is great. Representation matters. The story stuck with me. Also a light read to read between heavier books and one that I will come back to now and then. This book definitely earned a spot on my keeper shelf. Not my favorite book of all time but very good. I really am excited to read more.
