I am not a big Star Wars fan, so this book doesn't appeal to me at all. But my son was and I'm sure he would have loved at when he was middle school aged. So I'm sure it will be a big hit with its target audience. I like that it features Lando, who is a black character. Usually, the white guys get the good storylines and attention when it comes to the Star Wars series, so it is a nice change to feature one of the minority guys to draw in minority readers who don't see themselves in the characters nearly often enough.
