I really enjoyed this book so far. I think that this story even though its fiction has a lot of insight. It is also a very different plot then I have seen before and I am already engrossed in the story. The author describes thing is a unique manner. It’s weird because you would never think to describe it that way but when you think of it as she says it, it completely makes since. This book is going to have unique twists on almost everything; the way the characters think and express themselves, how things are describes as well as a new way that China’s restrictive rules might affect people.
The story takes real issues or events that we have all seen on the news and adds her own twist. Eve though we have only seen one of the story lines in the book I am sure the others are going to be just as entertaining. That is something I also think it going to be very enjoyable about the book. I like that we are going to hear from many different people all with very different situation but they all sound so interesting. I think that each set of stories is going to keep me up all night. They all sound so deep and some mysterious that I can’t wait to continue reading.
I don’t hate or love the cover. I like that it is simple yet has details and that it relates to the books plot. I think it could be designed to flow better, but I still think it was a really good choice for this book.
