Wow wow wow!! I really loved this book. I will admit that I was initially only intrigued by this book for it's cover. I was just really drawn to the cover when I first saw it, something about the white flowy dress and red hair against that gothic, dark background...stunning! But, after reading the blurb I became super excited about the story as well and I am thrilled that it lived up to my expectations. I just loved this book. I thought the characters were interesting and well developed. The plot was mysterious and gripping. The romance mixed with both mystery and fantasy made for such a well rounded and enjoyable story that kept me wanting to keep reading. Overall, Lakesedge just checked all the boxes for me and I thoroughly enjoyed my time reading it. I cannot wait to pick up Forestfall when it comes out in a few days as I will be picking it up right away! Highly recommend!
