As soon as I heard this was a gothic fantasy I was intrigued as it's one of my favorite genres. Throw in a monster/man that isn't as bad as he was made out to be and I am sold. I also love the mystery surrounding this book of Violeta's connection to the Lord Under, and I am sure that this will intrigue me until all the truth comes out.
