This isn’t so much a early read at all, I’d received a copy and read back last sept from a the spooky monthly box of owlcrate. The edition itself was lovely, but I hadn’t fallen in love with the story in the pretty bind up. It’s enjoyable, attempts to have eluded to mystery and creepy vibes but it honestly fell flat. It’s told rather then felt so I didn’t get to really sink in and nestle into this one as much as I’d liked. There’s a sequel due soon and answers to a few of the questions I had are tempting for getting it but on the fence still.
