If you've read any of Adib's previous work, you know just how captivating it can be... Kiss & Tell continues to fit the bill!

Right off the bat, the setup of the book is captivating as hell. The transition between chapters is a plethora of Buzzfeed-like articles/quizzes, emails from the band's manager, interviews with various characters, even Twitter threads about the most recent plot point. It was refreshing and added to the intrigue and characterization.

Diversity is something I feel that Khorram is able to incorporate naturally; with Darius, it was built in to the story. With Kiss & Tell, the narrative is told from the perspective of a red-headed white cis-gendered male. The rest of the cast of the novel, however, are diverse in a massive multitude! None of it feels forced or inauthentic. Each character had a purpose and was not added to the story for the sake of having them there for diversity. It was a joy to see this cast interact and share their backgrounds from Hunter's perspective.

This book, the story, the characters... Everything about it was enjoyable! A solid 4.5/5 from me! The minor issues I had were with a character and a couple of moments throughout the story, but they're vaguely spoiler-y; definitely not something that would take away from the enjoyment of this read!

I hope you're ready for this one! I suggest blasting some boy band soundtracks while you kick back with some Poutine (a requirement, to be honest) and read Adib Khorram's Kiss & Tell, out March 22nd!
