This was a very enlightening book to read. This book drew me in and had me up until three am to finish it. Also, an added plus was the beautiful artwork on the cover. It was a lot easier to understand how the character looked with him on the cover. The story itself was beautiful and inspirational and really captures how society treats the famous. A good lesson I learned from this is that you don't have to hide your true self so people will like you. Don't live up to anyone's expectations but yourselves. The main character went through a lot and had to keep so many parts of himself hidden so that he wouldn't be judged by the media or his fans. But when he was with the drummer he really opened up and eventually stopped lying about himself. This is an amazing story about self-growth and character realization. I learned a great lesson from this book and it is now one of my absolute favorites. beauty.
