Kiss & Tell is told in first person by Hunter Drake, member of a boy band called Kiss & Tell, as he navigates a tour one month post-breakup. It’s interspersed with faux articles, interviews, text messages, and documentary script. The relationships between Hunter and his band mates were some of my favorite parts. The story was really touching and sad throughout, and I think the author did a really amazing job communicating the pressure Hunter is under to fit into these molds of who and what he is supposed to be. I was legit surprised at points how sexy this book was! Considering I think it’s YA…maybe I should have been reading more contemporary queer YA this whole time. The humor in the writing gave me giggles throughout. Overall, I honestly have no criticism, It was a really great read! Now I need to go read Adib Khorram’s Darius books too.

Thanks to BookishFirst and Dial Books/Penguin Random House for this ARC. PRH has really been knocking it out of the park lately, all my favorite reads have come from their releases!
