Kiss & tell introduces us a white main character, which is really the default in most books, but what made this one good for me is Hunter acknowledging his privilege as a cis white guy from the very first time, not only that, but even on the sneak peek (and even though everything is told through hunters pov) we get to know about other characters and their experiences as people of color, the sneak peek really made me want to buy the book just to get to know more about these characters because they all seemed interesting to me. I think other point that was also treated very good from the first pages was the pressure of being someone under the spotlight, especially being queer, the chapter with hunter and the whole brunch thing manage to even make me uncomfortable and sad for him. Overall, the book seems very interesting and the talking of important topics was done good by only being the first few chapters! I sure hope the author gets to continue like this in the rest of the book, because it surely has potential.
