I love young adult novels, and I especially love young adult novels that feature queerness, LGBTQIA+ representation, and diversity. When I first looked at this book, it first drew me in with the adorable art on the cover. I love the style that the art on the cover has and the adorable characters and scene featured. Second, which this is the weird part, this book made me think of all of those little boy band au fan fictions that exist which I know a lot of people enjoy. I honestly haven’t read them much but they are usually really cute and this book reminded me of them so that was fun.
As for the book itself, reading it was a very fun and enjoyable experience. It’s just a cute little coming of age romance that anybody would want to read in their free time. It’s the perfect book to read when you just want some extra nice romancy feelings in your life.
