This cover looks like it's about a boy band, but the turned away member gives me the vibe that he is being burdened and his secret is literally crushing him. I'm getting the vibe that he's queer and being forced into stereotypical queer characteristics. The synopsis further solidifies this impression, that he is a gay character being forced into the "perfect queer" stereotype after he's forced out of the closet. This has the same feel as If This Gets Out, which I loved, but it's the "what if you were outted" scenario. I feel like I'm going to highly enjoy this read.
