I hadn't read anything by Adib Khorram but that cover had already grabbed my attention and made me want to read upcoming KISS & TELL, so I was thrilled to see if offered as a sneak peek on Bookish First. I am not big on reading the synopsis of books before reading them, a good cover is enough to make me super excited to read it, and this one did NOT disappoint once I started reading.
With a fun focus on the members of a boy band, with an incredibly diverse cast of characters that made even the first few pages I got to read worth it. How Khorram wrote Hunter seemed relevant and relatable for anyone in his age group, with plenty of issues bigger than himself even as he deals with fame, friendship and first love.
Pick this one up if you ever wondered what the behind the scenes of a boy band looks like, surround yourself with set lists, concert memorabilia and the feeling that music and love can get you through anything.
