Underrated Representation
What a cute and wonderful read! Initially, the cover drew me in as it is an amazing, artistic rendition that captures the effervescent energy of this magnificent novel. The fact that a neurodivergent author wrote a book with an authentically inspirded rendition of a neurodivergent character is extremely impactful and meaningful. Although the main character Stella does not represent every single person on the spectrum, she is still quite relatable to a lot of folks including those on the spectrum as well as those who are not. The chemistry between the characters seems extremely palpable and I feel as if it is a quick, captivating read that you never, ever, want to put down or be done with. You know that feeling when you finish a book and you feel sad and wish you could read it again as if you never read it to begin with, that is how this book might make you feel!
