I did not enjoy the first chapter as much as I did the second. The first one was cocky, with James, which made it enjoyable to read but I feel as if Stella was underestimating herself, which made her lack of confidence. I feel as if Stella's parents are relatable to most parents when they are at the age of thirty. Also, It felt as though the parents were in a bit of a robotic monotone.

In the second chapter, Micheal's character was much more entertaining. He was cautious about getting STD's and scared about his bills, as any human being over the age of eighteen would be. He also seemed to enjoy the talk with Stella and the author implied that he did not want to stop talking with her as he thought she was gradually getting more beautiful.
