Sweet, romantic, and erotic. Sometimes all at once!

It's sweet and romantic and just the right amount of erotic; sometimes, weirdly yet effectively, all three at once.
Both Stella and Michael are relatable characters that you can't help but root for. They engaged my emotions from the get-go and I couldn't wait to see where Hoang would take them. I really appreciated how Stella's autism was handled with such understanding. There's a line in there about it being considered a bad thing, but Stella discovering that it's just what makes her "her" and I loved that.
A testament to how great this book is written is that it's main point of tension would have been solved if the two would just talk to each other. This is one of my main peeves in storytelling and I hate it, yet I still loved every single word of Stella and Michael coming together.
I laughed, I cried a little, I got mad at both leads, there is just so much going for it. This is a fantastic woman's fiction book and I can't recommend it enough.
