The moment I read the summary for the kiss quotient by helen hoang in the library, I KNEW I had to borrow it. It went straight into my ‘YES!’ pile. did I love it all the way through? no. I dropped for a couple of days before picking it back up because it stressed me the fuck out!!! also every time stella and michael got interrupted during sex by outside forces I wanted to pull out my hair.
but the sex scenes were whoa!! gotta love that emphasis on foreplay. the smut never got old. I love michael’s family so, so much and I wish there was more about them!! ilu grandma!! I just wish michael’s father’s hanging plot line was resolved.
all in all, a fun breezy read if stressful in a few parts. the characters were endearing, I would literally die for quan, jennie and anh (michael’s mother). there should have been a cutesy netflix film starring david henney made like, yesterday.
