I know I have read a good book when I get butterflies in my stomach while reading. This book took me back to the moments when I first fell in love and allowed me to bask in the nostalgia. Stella immediately tugs at the heart strings due to her unique way of interpreting things. She is intelligent, yet finicky. She is practical, yet has difficulties reading social situations. Michael is portrayed as a very handsome, prominent man. You can’t help but fall in love with him for the way he exhibits care and compassion towards Stella and his family. When Stella makes a decision to enhance her “romance skills”, what follows is a hilarious, yet steamy love story.
I found this book to be highly addicting and simple to read. This was one of those books that I didn’t want to put down without finding out what happened in the end. I also found myself wanting to immediately read a follow up book so that I could continue to see what happens next to Stella and Michael.
