This was one of the hardest books I had to rate to be honest, but after contemplating it for a day I ended up settling on a 3 stars rating. Though it feels more like a 3.5-ish.

"The Kiss Quotient" is about this girl, Stella, who's brilliant in her work but lacks basic social skills that allow her to talk to boys and eventually get a boyfriend. The girl is basically clueless when it comes to anything sex related (or so she thinks *wink wink*), so -naturally- she decides to hire an escort to teach her.
Because that's the most obvious thing a person does when they fail to get a partner. Cue the eyeroll.
And that's how she meets out boy, Michael. He's crazy hot (duuh) and is a total sweetheart but of course doesn't show it.

One thing leads to the other and they end up "faking" a relationship and of course fall for one another for real, add to the mix some misunderstanding, a kinda dark past, an annoying guy who wants to get in her pants and you got your typical contemporary love story.

BUT (and that's a bigass bold but over there)
The story wasn't just about this typical love story (if it were my rating would've been lower)
As the story goes on, we discover that Stella has autism. At first I found it weird because she was interacting with people normally and even more with Michael. But the situation got explained the more I read, and it did make things a little clearer but I was still a bit confused with the whole autism ordeal.
But then I reached the Author's Note at the end of the book, I learned more about what Stella had and things made absolute sense.
Before reading this book I had no idea what a "High functioning autism" nor what an "Asperger Syndrome" were.
And for this I am very thankful, because had I not read this book, I would've never learned about this syndrome and how it can affect people.

Overall this was a very interesting and enlightening read in regards of what it made me learn, and a light a fluffy one in regard of the story line and the characters.
