I absolutely adored this book! I had heard about it everywhere on BookTube when it first came out but by the description I didn't think it was something I would be interested in, but this year I decided to give it a chance and I am so glad that I did. It honestly felt like a warm hug of a book. I loved the main characters. They worked so well with each other and the chemistry was amazing! I could really feel the genuine emotions through the author's writing and the author did a wonderful job of adding complexity to her characters (even the background characters). I also really loved the elements of Vietnamese culture! I always love when characters are very in tune with their culture and it is shared throughout the story. I finished the book and immediately wanted to start it all over again from the beginning! Thankfully, the world continues with other romances and I am very excited to also check out those books!
