This book gets 2 stars just for Stella who is a beautiful and brilliant autistic woman. I really liked her character overall. The only part about her I didn't like was that she was rich. In being rich, she was able to get anything she wanted for her autism: custom clothes, probably good schooling, extra help perhaps. I also did not appreciate that she just threw money at everything.

That being said… I didn’t enjoy the book much at all. It was predictable and frustrating. All issues could have been solved with good communication. I feel like communication issues are fine for YA books where we have sixteen-year-olds who don't know how to express themselves but when you're talking 25-30 year old individuals who can't just TALK to another person, it's upsetting. Michael was weird - he was sometimes so gentlemanly and then other times he was just an ass.

I also learned from this book that I don’t enjoy spicy sex scenes. That’s on me, not the author. I thought they were well-written, but I did not enjoy reading them.
