So this book, I have so many mixed feelings about this book. I’m not a big romance reader; I should start off by saying that. I can read them, but I’m not a super big fan of them, especially when they have a lot of sex scenes. I don’t know what it is, but I don’t like a lot of sex scenes in my books. This book had a lot of sex scenes, but I guess when one main character is a male escort those types of things happen. I was intrigued by the gender swap Pretty Woman as the author likes to put it though. I like the core of the book and Stella and Micheal. When there isn’t a sex scene going on I like the book. I love Stella interacting with Micheal’s family and her growing more comfortable with herself. Stella is a very interesting character and I like that there was a diverse character in a romance novel; I feel like you don’t see that enough. I did read The Bride Test, before I read The Kiss Quotient and I feel like I liked that book better, but I liked Stella and Micheal’s relationship more. I don’t know I’m hard to please when it comes to romances (And that’s not because I’m unromantic).

Obviously since I read the books out of order I know that Stella and Michael get married (Their wedding is one of the ones that Esme and Kai go to in The Bride Test). I love the last few pages of the book; how Michael finds out that Stella donated her trust fund to pay for medical bills and how Michael says he’s going to propose to Stella in three months. I just love how he says he tells her he’s going to propose because he knows she hates surprises (That made me swoon and won me over I will admit).
