I truly enjoyed The Kiss Quotient by Helen Hoang! For me it was a perfect mix of serious and fun. On the serious side, protagonist Stella is a very smart woman who has Asperger's syndrome. I am a social worker and just absolutely loved how Helen Hoang developed Stella's character...and then how she created Michael's character to be so understanding and caring towards Stella. Stella couldn't even stand the thought of french kissing somebody, but when it came to Michael all of that changed. I enjoyed how although there were serious topics, there were also parts that were a bit steamy between the two of them. With her overbearing parents and his very loving and tight knit family, it added more interesting dynamics to this story. This book will have you cheering on the love between Stella and a male escort (something I never thought I would say, ha-ha).
