What a stunning debut that absolutely exploded onto the romance scene in 2018! I recommend this book heavily to anyone who rolls their eyes at romance novels and could really use to have some misconceptions cleared up.
The story is different and fresh. The characters are well-developed and diverse. The representation of having a heroine on the spectrum, a hero that's a sex worker and never shamed for it, and Asian families was a true delight and I want more from Helen Hoang immediately.
